Tylian

The difference between an OC and a "true character" lies in whom it serves. An OC only serves as an idealized outlet for an individual. A true character fulfils a purpose in an actual story.

Tylian is an individual within the Galaxy in Conflict project. Former Royal Marines, he was isekai'd into Gensokyo despite normally only the ill and unfit being sent there to die. He died a second time, sacrificing himself to allow a handful of villagers to escape from ferocious Youkai.

As an undead he serves as an eternal merchant, handling fragile anomalous artifacts in exchange for trinkets or raw Credits. At first unsure of his new outfit, he's since come to respect it. After all, it's a pretty good way to stand out from the rest.
