The Golden House's Clean Up
This is a reupload of my old DA work, with a slightly modified description because of Pixiv's character limit.
Potentially unstable surroundings are always important to be mindful of, especially after a big battle.

Artist's Journal:
- Inspiration: After the Traveler's fight with Tartaglia, Ganyu and Keqing are sent to the Golden House to give it an examination, but things don't go quite as planned.
• All of the debris and scattered parts in the picture can be found in the Golden House somewhere. The one thing I remember is that placing everything down took me a few hours of simple cutting, rotating, and transforming. The fact that the ground was already broken into pieces because of Childe's transformation cutscene did help speed things along a little bit though.
- In order to get a sense of proper scale with the environment, I compared Keqing to the entrance doors.
• Deciding the size of the mora was an interesting case. I first scaled a single mora to match the coins in the Golden House after doing the above, only to find that they are actually quite massive in comparison to ones you might hold in your hand or in a pouch when I brought one over to the characters. Appropriately, I scaled them down to what I felt was fitting.
- I conducted a small investigation with light maps while adding the light blue glow effect that comes with Amos' Bow, but found it more convenient to just reinsert it manually.
- Ganyu's model had a layer of black overlapping her arms' skin which for some reason, I hadn't realized was meant to be transparent until the very end. Even then, I ended up having to rerender a few times because there were notable black fragments caused by the overlap being too close anyways, but it's nothing unusual.

1. In Universe:
- Keqing is depicted with the Lion's Roar for her sword in the cutscenes that play as Osial attacks Liyue. Although Ganyu's weapon in her story quest's trial is the Skyward Harp, I feel that Amos' Bow is much more fitting thematically in terms of appearance and her kit, plus there's also the fact that it was one of the two weapons ran alongside Ganyu's banner.
- Keqing and Ganyu initially don't seem to get along very well, as the former is skeptical of the divine and the latter signed a contract with and is devoted to her duty assigned by Rex Lapis. However, after Liyue's archon is declared dead, the two start to understand each other a bit more, all of which is seen in their voicelines.
- The Golden House is the only mint in Teyvat, fitting for Liyue as it's known as the city of commerce. In the story, it is also where the Exuvia is hidden and where you fight Childe, who ends up destroying a good portion of the interior.

OH MY GOD YOU'RE BACK!? I MISSED YOU!!!!!!!
View RepliesFrom how they are plastered on the floor, it seems Ganyu hit the floor first followed by Keqing a short while later, inertia doing the rest.
Hopefully no more of the upper floor falls down on them when they're still stuck to the basement floor.
