Borgalor: Ytvían dwarves

Borgalor is my magitech fantasy world with a level of technology ranging from medieval to the late 1990s, home to nine different sapient species.
Ytvían dwarves are one of the main branches of lowland dwarves in Jælondis, the northern continent of Borgalor, who inhabit region of Ytvía to the south. Unlike the ójomic dwarves in eastern Borgalor, whose resistance to cold allowed them supplant most the native humans long ago, ytvían dwarves have either coexisted with the human population due to the warmer climate there or avoid them.
The first image depicts a man from Keqallía in southeastern Ytvía, known for its advanced magitech and alchemical industry, and a popular tourist destination due to the stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Keqallíans are also famous for the armour they make out of giant pearls.
The second image depicts a woman from Ti'ei in central Ytvía, a federation of underground cities, towns and villages which were isolated from the rest of the world until very recently. A typical ti'eian settlement has a fortified farmland at the top, guarded by a combined watchtower and dovecot, with livestock kept just beneath the surface, and homes, industries, stores and shrines further down.
