Borgalor: Örkrazic elf

Borgalor is my magitech fantasy world with a level of technology ranging from medieval to the late 1990s, home to nine different sapient species.
Elves are one of the main sapient species in Borgalor, related to dwarves and humans and native to western Jælondis. They are able to use magic for much longer than their relatives, and with the right training can keep a spell going for days through meditation. Most traditional elven religions are based around the triad of arctolatry (bear worship), dendrolatry (tree worship) and pyrolatry (fire worship), often more than one and sometimes influenced by non-elven faiths.
Elven cultures are loosely divided into three main branches, namely jútrilían elves, þjaric elves and austral elves. The half-elf depicted here represents the austral elves, specifically the ones inhabiting the equatorial continent of Örkraz, land of the orcs and snake-like ophids. The elven populations in the orcish republics traditionally live as cowherds, barley farmers, bakers, brewers, cheesemakers and mages, have adapted their culture to the local customs and environment and many have are of mixed ancestry. This one is a mage from Agg-Ahlún to the west, wielding a staff tipped with a piece made from hlölkite, a metal only found in Örkraz.
