The srceeching alarm of her clock woke her up. She was only shortly confused by the sudden change of location and the distinct lack of Darling in her arms, before realising what has really been going on.
"No... A dream..." she said softly, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Those tears were short lived, as she brutally hit her clock in frustration, nearly breaking it. A cold, indiferent expression became visible on her face.
Right. She had to prepare for her trip to Plantation 13 today, as the old fart wanted her and Strelitzia there for some reason. Not to go find Darling, for sure. How many monsters she had to kill, and how many more useless human weaklings will she have to endure before she would finally be allowed to meet Darling again?
