清水寺と祇園と初音ミク

Kiyomizu-dera is one of Kyoto’s most iconic temples, known for its wooden stage that juts out from the main hall, offering breathtaking views of cherry blossoms in spring and red leaves in autumn. Built in the 8th century, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of Japan’s historic and spiritual heritage.

Nearby is Gion, Kyoto’s famous geisha district. With its traditional wooden townhouses (machiya), narrow stone alleys, and seasonal lanterns, Gion captures the elegant beauty of old Japan. It’s also a place where you might spot a maiko (apprentice geisha) gracefully walking to an evening performance.
