カミアイFamily AU COMIC
A story where Ai and Hikaru reconcile, live together and have a third child in a happier universe.
Exactly 200 pages! I had been drawing this comic since November.
This comic was published under the series title name of "A family bigger than 4".
This comic also deals with:
-Hikaru's situation with Airi (with her being properly punished)
-Ai's relationship with her mother
-Ai's relationship with Nino
-Ai and Hikaru's wedding
and so on!
Almost everyone gets a happier ending. (I say almost because Ryosuke does not exist. He can't be redeemed)
I have a lot to say about the ending of the series, it hurt me, this was a very hurtful piece, I felt quite pained and I felt so sorry for the characters because I didn't see the point in having made things turn out this way. To be blunt, I do not think it was a good ending. If I had found it meaningful; I wouldn't have been this distressed; Things felt so unnecessarily cruel and the message didn't feel like it balanced out all the terrible things that happened to the characters sufficiently, I wish it did. But let's set that aside for now,
I wanted to give a happy ending and some proper closure to some of the events/relationships in the manga and most of all, I wanted that wish Ai's had to come true and just see her living the life she wanted. She wanted to be with the one she loved (and I'm pretty sure she's the reincarnation of the god Amenouzume with him being the Sarutahiko. In that case, he became corrupted because he couldn't bear losing the only one who cared for him-this is being true to the myths too because that god was also misunderstood until his to-be-wife came to approach him- and that means, this guy is also a victim and could have been a good person and a devoted husband the way she pictured him in.)
Ai loved her family and her boyfriend very much, didn't she? In this comic, she gets to stay, be proud and be congratulated for being with them. And have her real self be accepted- drawing this healed me a bit and had me think it really could happen!
I hope you enjoy that with me!
This could have been possible in another universe, I believe!
