Ryan Thompson is an american comic artist and illustrator. Since late 2009, he has actively worked alongside the webcomics collective DarkStar-Studios, on his long-term project Fajita. Ryan has always held an abiding love for all things cartoon, and discovered webcomics at age 13. After trying his hand at many alternatives, he determined to leave his own mark in the community, and at the age of 18, began working proffessionally in the webcomics industry. He is a frequent guest and panelist at a number of larger East Coast Anime Conventions. As an artist, Ryan has been noted for the quirky style of cartooning that is distinctive of his work. His most prominent influences include, but are not limited to: Hiroyuki Takei, Tite Kubo, Katsura Hoshino, Vinson Ngo, Hajime Ueda, and Shaun Healey.
