Each image of mine takes around 10-20 hours of human work and 3-5 hours of GPU time. Not too shabby if you ask me
My process relies on ComfyUI running on my own computer equipped with an RTX 4090. I use Photoshop while I iterate through versions of the image, from simple drafts to adjusting minor details. I change checkpoints + LoRAs + sampling methods throughout the process and divide the image into parts to work on separately - like character faces. I also occasionally use reference images to create depth maps and poses which aid the AI samplers.
