Nirai - White Dove (Novel AI)
I don't remember if Nirai's last post was in NAI V2 or V3, all I know is it's been a while since I've talked about her. Instead of doing a full recap like I tend to do I wanna talk about something "new" regarding her. New as in I probably haven't mentioned it much if at all here, but it's been in the story line for a super long time. That brings us to part of the overall theme of my entire campaign. I took an ungodly amount of inspiration from Ace Combat. That's a given. The main story line starts with Smirnova, and ends not long after her transformation into the Razgriz leads her to help the world defeat Moloch and bring peace.
A significant part of Smirnova's story comes directly from the Razgriz lore and a A Blue Dove for the Princess. Rena being the Blue Dove and Scin being the Princess, while the players help fill the other roles. Leaving that aside for now, we jump to Nirai. The Aurelian Queen. Nirai's grand design has always been a secret. The Razgriz coming along is supposed to derail her plans, which is a good thing, because Nirai also has a role. That role becomes reality if the players, or Queenslayer specifically, deny Smirnova when she returns for their loyalty as the Razgriz.
Nirai was born to defeat Moloch. She was sent by the gods to do it. She is well aware of that fact. Her entire 160 year reign has been dictated by her goal. She's spent all that time carefully setting the world like a chessboard to fit as close to her ideal scenario as possible. I brought up in her last post how she orchestrated the Belkan War, to remove them from the equation and deal with Ulysses at once. I brought up how she used Regen and Fuyu as an unwitting retrieval team for a very special sphere of condensed magic at the epicenter of the explosion that destroyed the nation of Gebet, which she also orchestrated. I didn't have room to explain why though.
Where Rena is the Blue Dove sent to help save the Princess, Nirai is the White Dove, sent to bring peace to the world. She works toward her goal all alone in secret. Her story is written to be the opposite of the Razgriz. Which is why they cancel each other out to a degree. In the Late Game, if one of the Bad Endings is triggered, the Razgriz will be forced to act alone. Odds are she'll be marked as an enemy. In that case, Nirai will lead the world's charge on Moloch's stronghold in the final decisive battle, not the Razgriz. In the process, she will separate herself from her adopted daughter Fuyu and all of her allies, and bring out the condensed magic sphere from Gebet.
She will say her goodbyes to everyone, overcharge the sphere with her magic turning it into an enormous death beam, and clear a massive path straight to Moloch's front door, sacrificing herself in the process. Just like she was born to do. Dying is how she chooses to atone for everything she did to get there. I hope we don't get a Bad End.
The Queen is based off Luna from PGR. Luna is life. Big confusing dump of info here. :P Enjoy.
