After the fall of the Hitler regime, the Third Reich government officially fell to the Military Junta (OKH). All members of the German National Socialist party were arrested, including SS Rechführer Himmler, Goering & Goebels.
Erza and Battalion 503 along with the Großerdeutschland division, which was defending against the Red Army's offensive attack in Misnk, received orders to retake Smolensk and negotiate a ceasefire with the Soviets.
Apart from that, Erza & squad 666, who were previously kicked out of the SS Das Reich division, are now taking control of the Heeresgruppe Nordukraine as the Wehrmacht Großerdeutschland.
